Occupational Health & Safety Approach
The health and safety of our employees, contractors, and stakeholders are central to our operations. We maintain a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Management System that integrates key operational programs into a unified framework, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational risk mitigation.
Our safety culture is built on continuous training, active employee engagement, and shared responsibility in incident prevention. We provide comprehensive medical care through on-site clinics and implement well-being programs that address the unique challenges of remote mining operations.
Local Employment, D&I and Development
We believe mining should create opportunities for local people — building skills, strengthening regional economies, and opening doors that remain long after the mine’s life.
In 2025, we continued to exceed our 40% local employment target at the operating TZ Mine, while maintaining local employment as a core value across our projects in Guyana and Brazil.

- 100% local employees at Gurupi (Brazil).

In 2025, women continued to be represented across our governance, leadership and workforce, reflecting our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion:
- 18% of our Board of Directors were women, representing two of eleven directors.
- 37% of our Senior Leadership Team were women, representing three of eight officers.
- 16% of our total workforce across operations were women, up from 15.2% in 2024 and 11% in 2023.
